Recommended from the local people went! It was delicious
Even if I went to the store, there were many souvenirs.
I think it's crowded. There are a lot of audiences, so I do not think that I will wait long because I do not have a long stay time. The space itself is attractive, so wait for a while. However, it seems that they stayed for several hours when a continental visitor got on the bus when they visited before. I felt sick to the store staff, so when I told them that it would be a bit of a day, I was able to withdraw my order.
Mackerel sushi was 420 yen in three pieces. It was delicious.
Because it is a tourist destination, it is recommended that weekdays are vacant
Good udon, nice people !!
Nice taste
`` Hundred shops & Wednesday what sacred place ''One hundred stores that appeared frequently on "What about Wednesday" and were acclaimed by the performers. Visited with longing.Salad top set meal 1,180 yengood☆ Sanuki udon shops are inexpensive because they do not invest in shops such as self-shops, but this shop is a service that is perfect and very superb (just the main team).☆ Udon and tempura with gloss and firmness are also very delicious.☆ Sanuki has a lot of self-stores around 200 yen, so it's a bit expensive, but I think it's cheaper considering other stores and services. Although it is a 100 store, I think Sanuki Udon is a different line from other Sanuki Udon restaurants. I will always return if I can visit Sanuki udon.☆ There is a large parking lot☆ Enriched souvenirsbad★ The temperature setting inside the store was hot.
On my second business trip, my local co-worker took me to the Yamadaya main store, which has a contrast with the previous Yamauchi Udon store. After all, it is a mansion of registered tangible cultural property, so it's nice to have a set meal properly because the menu has flowers. After a shocking encounter with "soy sauce" at Udon Yamanouchi, this time I tried to make a kettle (Kamaten). If "soy sauce" is a soul food for locals, then Kamaage is a little crappy for tourists. However, in any case, the noodles with strain are excellent, and the goodness of the taste is irresistible. After all, if you come to Kagawa, this is the royal road Sanuki Udon restaurant.
Delicious Sanuki udon and tempura! Very nice decor. Nice bathrooms.
Friendly staff and nice food. Spacious historic building..
The architecture is beautiful. Touristy pricing, but tastes amazing. Loved the little garden inside the gate. Smoking area and bathroom are separated from the main restaurant.
To popular famous long-established store, Yamadaya. What we got was a Kamitendon set. The broth to match with the stiff noodles was also the best. You can choose either udon noodles or kakame udon.Bukkake is also delicious.I want to come back when I come here.
Crystal clear soup is very good!Among the famous Sanuki udon restaurants, this one is not so good.Bukkake udon for 350 yen. There are many other topping set menus, but it is better to taste them first.I also made souvenirs here.
Sometimes you wonder why some places are famous, and sometimes there are places that are famous for a reason, and in the case of Yamada-ya, you can imagine which reason it is when people are going to drive a few extra kilometers, passing dozens of other udon restaurants along the way just to go to this one.
good
Tasty udon noodle serve at a historical Japanese building. Environment is good, food is even better. It's totally worth to visit.
This is the most delicious Udon I ever eat in Japan. If you are visiting Kagawa, dont forget to visit this udon shop. Even the plain udon was soooo delicious!!
Great atmosphere with some of the best udon in kagawa. Will not regret a trip here
Udon wasn’t my favorite food until I’ve tried it at Yamadaya shop. This is simply the best udon that I’ve ever tried in my life. Takamatsu is famous for udon. It is the origin of udon in Japan. There is even a udon tour bus that travels around udon shops. This yamadaya udon place is about a hundred years old. You can not only taste super chewy udon but also enjoy great beauty of the garden. It’s not that hard to find this udon shop. You’ll see many signs written on the telephone polls on your way to the shop.
Best udon on the planet! I'm not a fan of udon, so it takes a lot to impress me. This udon is slightly chewy but not too much, slightly soft but not soggy, and it has the best condiments combination - some crushed ginger, lots of green onions, sesame seeds, and crushed radish, which you can mix in portions of your choice for the best taste that you like. 5 stars!!!
My experience here was impressive. While on a business trip, my boss took me here to try the famous udon in Shikoku. Loved it, especially at the different types of mustards.
Yum! Udon is my favourite noodle and this place does them wonderfully! Chewy and moist but not slimy! There was a little queue to write your name down for the table waitlist (you can choose between tatami or chair/table, or ‘don’t mind’), but I want waiting for more than 5mins in total between arriving and being sat down (around noon on a Monday). There is an English menu. You presumably already know udon is their speciality so you should really get it. They have cold and hot, with broth or dipping sauce, with kitsune tofu, etc. They also have sets which include two pieces of sushi and about 5 pieces of tempura - which, incidentally, was some of the best tempura I’ve had in japan. So crispy on the outside but not dry in the middle. Delicious. They were also able to accommodate my request for no shrimp tempura. The garden is also very tranquil and the staff are nice too. Good quality and reasonable price - would go back.
One of the best Udon but it's very difficult to reach without a car.
Quite good Udon place in a traditional Japanese style setting with gardens and all. Might not be easy to get to if not by car. They sell Udon gift packages which will be a good present/Omiyage. I'd recommend this place to everyone.
Have a very nice garden. Wheelchair person can access
7th house. Udon noodles It's a sweet dashi, not so sweet as udon noodles. A little thicker than just thick noodles. It's delicious to be chewy and chewy. There seems to be people eating one by oneAs a store that bears the title of tangible cultural property registration, the building is very good, there is also a good menu, and udon is not that expensive. Isn't it just right to take them on a family trip? The clerk is also good at serving customers!
You need to try this udon restaurant that is famous to local Japanese. The environment there is perfect. There are various types of udon sets you can try and don't forget the tempura that is yummy too. But to go there you need to drive you car uphill along a small road but it worth the effort.
Probably one of the best udon restaurant on the planet! This flagship icon brand is popular among locals and visitors. It is located up on a hill, so you would probably have to be driving, or it's not easy to access via public transportation. The menu consists different set combination of udon and sides; house special is the way to go if you don't know what to order. The udon is done perfectly. I visited during weekday lunch and there was no queue (lucky). Must try if you are in town!
We went on a late weekday afternoon when the restaurant wasn't busy. The restaurant is set in an old luxurious Japanese house. The atmosphere is very relaxing and peaceful. The food is also excellent. Highly recommended!
Best udon by far. Thick and chewy texture. It got really busy during lunch time but the wait was bearable (around 15min) - they have plenty of spaces and very efficient. Food arrived within 5min. It was so good we bought the take away udon!
Very nice udon, and tempura over rice is tasty, a bit far from downtown.
Worth waiting for over an hour. Loved the udon noodle.
Phenomenally good udon at excellent prices. The noodles have a good chewy texture and are super long, and the tempura was served steaming hot and fresh.
Quite remote and difficult to locate. However their udon is very nice and is one of the best in town
The nearest station is Kotoden Yaguri Station. If you go towards the Yakuri Cable, there will be a guide on the telephone pole, so if you follow exactly that way, it's ok.What do you think about eating a pilgrimage here and wondering what to do with the pilgrimage? The tatami room has a good atmosphere and calms down. The soup stock is a little sweet, and the seaweed is also a Naruto seaweed and the compatibility is very good.
Best udon you can taste. There are many different options, cold and hot, etc.
Must visit after Isamu noguchi garden museum. Walking distance. Nice inner garden. Draft beer is quite huge.
This is a very famous udon shop in Kagawa prefecture. The cars parked in the parking lot were overwhelmingly out-of-prefecture numbers. To be clear, cospa is not good. However, the order-to-delivery was very fast, and the noodles were very delicious. The parking lot is also widely guided by security guards.
Beautiful & quaint udon restaurant. The zen gardens and calm atmosphere somehow makes the food taste all that much better. Lunch time prices start from ¥500~. Sets from ¥1200~. Pretty large portions (set menu).
The place can be difficult to find after dark. Once get there, it's awesome.
Top class
Since I came to Kagawa, I found it when I searched for a delicious udon restaurant!Apparently, the udon restaurants in Kagawa both opened their doors in the morning, so it seemed that it would close early and it wouldn't make it in time.It was delicious with the firmness, but lately, Marugame-san and other Mr. Marugame's delicious udon can be eaten, so it's delicious! However, it's an honest impression that Cospa isn't good ((((; ДД))))))))I think the set with tempura was really expensive. So I ordered fried fried one by one and shared it!The oysters were delicious! !!The car had stopped for a while, and there were Zorozoro people, but I was able to show me to the seat immediately and udon came out soon!It was delicious! It was delicious (o ^^ o)
The scenery and food is amazing! The outside hides how large this place truly is once you get inside with two separate dining areas. One which is more traditional style with tatami floors, while the second side is more of the modern Western style with tables and booths.
Interesting building and garden, but the Udon was worse than chainstores in Japan. Might have been because it was sunday.
We enjoyed this Udon restaurant. Nice garden like surroundings . A short wait and then we were shown to our table. Service very nice and quick. We had cold udon and tempura about 1200 yen. I had a cold jockey of Asahi. Udon was made from local flour. Al Dente and chewy. Tempura crisp and hot.Great place to visit. It is a bit out of the city center and we spent about 2800 yen to get there and another 3000 to get back to out hotel. But,we're tourists and this was a special place.
Biggest letdown of our entire udon pilgrimage. Overrated mostly due to the atmosphere, and it’s family friendly unlike many of the other teeny shops. But sadly noodles were cold and tempura soggy.
Delicious and quite busy. But it was cozy and not noisyit was the second-best udon in TakamatsuIt is hard to access here without car.
Amazing udon. Fantastic staff. We were lucky enough to be there when it wasn’t busy. We ordered & the food was on our table in under 5 mins.
Amazing!! A nice walk up from Yakuri station to work up an appetite! The chewiest of udons and the best ebi tempura i've ever had!! The view and the the restaurant itself is beautiful.
One of the best udon noodles in Takamatsu city.Noodles and soup combination is perfect.A little bit crowd during lunch and location not so easy without a car but worth it!
The first authentic udon. I ordered a famous bukkake. I was able to enter as soon as possible because of that effect. The level that is different from what you usually eat is stiff!Very satisfied with eating
More upscale udon restaurant. Yet very reasonable prices. Relaxing atmosphere. Fast, cheerful service. Delicious food. Even the complimentary tea was delicious.
Very good food. You sit on the floor so it can get uncomfortable but it was worth it.
It is quite far from Takamatsu and even from Yakuri Station. There are no bus so you muat simply walk, but it is worth the trip. Definietly recommend their Zaru Bukkake Udon. I just wish I was more hungry so I could have eaten two udon... they have seasonal special menu as well
